Sunday morning:
On a Sunday morning, the children start in the church and take part in the beginning of the service with their family and friends. They then go out to their groups: See & Know, Climbers, Explorers and Pathfinders. On the 1st Sunday of the month, St Peter’s has an All-age Service, for which the children stay to worship with the whole church family. See & Know (0-4's) Coming to church with babies/pre-school children? Bring them to the See and Know group where we enjoy playing with toys, craft activities, singing, refreshments and finding out more about God. You can leave your child with us or stay with them if you prefer. The service is relayed on a speaker into our area and we have a full view of the church. Climbing Explorers (5-10's) We are a group of 5 to 10 year olds that meet on a Sunday morning in the church hall. In trying to learn more about God and get to know him better, we play games, pray, hear and act out bible stories, have quizzes and do some art and craft work. New members and visitors are always welcome. Pathfinders The 10-14's of the Church family meet over in the church hall. We learn more about God and how to be Christians in challenging situations through art, drama, reading the Bible and playing games.
Sunday evening:Keystone Keystone is for anyone aged 14-18 who wants to know more about God. Keystone meets as part of the Cafe Church called "Encounter" which is on Sunday evening at 7pm. Keystone also has its own social activities each week.
During the week: Complementing our services on a Sunday there is a variety of groups meeting during the week. Home Groups Many of our congregation belong to groups of around 10 people that meet each week in a member's home. These groups meet to worship, study the bible and pray together. Meeting in small groups such as these alongside the larger meetings on a Sunday makes it easier for friendships to form and for people to care for one another. Women's Fellowship Meeting on the afternoon of the first Tuesday of each month, the women's fellowship aims to provide friendship through a variety of different activities. Lunch Club Friday lunchtime is an opportunity for a meal for people over a certain age, whilst chatting in a friendly environment.
