Living in Love and Faith

Living in Love and Faith is a landmark project to help us to discuss Christian teaching and learning about identity, sexuality, relationships and marriage. The feedback from courses across the country will help inform the House of Bishops and General Synod about the church's approach to some of the challenging questions involved.

Whatever your theology you are invited to come and listen and share.  To be respectful of those who think differently to you, and to explore together what these things mean for us all in 2022.

Each week you will ask to read and pray through the course commitments (see "Resources" below) and you will be sent a list of readings and questions for the week.  There will be films, questions and opportunities to share in a small breakout group.  We will keep you in the same group throughout the course, so would ask you to be faithful in your attendance to keep the group together.  If you find parts of the course challenging there are Diocesan LLF chaplains available (See Derby Diocese LLF information below)

The course begins on Sun 13 February 6pm on Zoom and each session will last 1.5 hours.  It will continue for five weeks and end on Sun 13 March.  The course will be facilitated by Father Julian Hollywell, with the final session taken by Rev Alicia Dring. The same Zoom meeting will be used each week (The same one used by St Peter's Church each Sunday). The link is at the top of this page.

For more information about LLF join the LLF learning hub (see "Resources" below).

There will be feedback to the central church from the course facilitator, but you will also have the opportunity to feedback on an individual basis.  Your feedback can only be sent if you have completed the course.

Please complete the form below if you would like to join our course or have any questions.

Everyone is welcome.

Thank you. We will be in touch.
